Taaaj Maaahal! The best wonder of the world. Taj Mahal (Agra, India) one and best one of the seven wonders of the world. Taj Mahal is a tomb that was built in the 17th century with marble. There are two groups of people in the world who have seen the Taj Mahal and who have not seen the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal, for which even the course of the river Yamuna is said to have been diverted, can best be described in the words of the Noble Laurette Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, “A teardrop in the face of eternity.”
Taj Mahal is my favourite place and I have visited Taj Mahal several times. When I first visited Taj , my first expression was speechless and second expression was " Waaah Taaaj". There are so many reasons to visit Taj Mahal and these are (1) One and best wonder of Seven Wonders of the World. (2) The history of Taj Mahal, (3) The architecture, (4) The beauty and glamour of Taj Mahal , (5) UNESCO world heritage site. I think best time to visit Taj Mahal, from October to 2nd week of March. If you are DSLR lover like me then the early morning is the best time to take photos because that time no rush of people are there. Taj Mahal opens at 6 A.M. in the morning. You don’t need to pay camera charges except entry fee. No photography is allowed inside the Taj Mahal tomb.
Taj Mahotsav :
Taj Mahotsav is an annual 10-day (from 18 to 27 February) event at Shilpgram in Agra, India and it’s mainly dedicated to the promotion of country’s rich art and craft, culture, cuisine, dance and music.
So, try to visit Taj that time if you are festival lover.
Visiting Taj Mahal at full moon nights:
Experience like no other in the world. Night viewing of Taj Mahal is available on five days in a month i.e. on full moon night and two nights before and two after the full moon.
