Taj Mahal, Agra...

Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan (grandson of Akbar the great) in 1648, in the memory of his wife Arjumand Bano Begum, entitled ‘Mumtaz Mahal’. The massive Mahal was built with marbles. Taj mahal is located in the bank of the River Yumuna in Agra City.

Shajahan’s wife died in 1631 and after 6months, he started constructing the Taj Mahal. It took 17 years to complete the Mahal. Now it is one of the 7 wonders of the world.

Taj mahal is known to be the symbol of Love.

I went there last month, and it was very very beautiful building which was constructed with more thinking and imagination. Each and every location of taj mahal has its uniqueness. Eg, the four towers on the 4 sides of Taj Mahal in inclined outwards, so that even in some natural disaster it wont damage the main building. Such a well planned construction…

If somebody is coming to India, you must visit Taj Mahal…

Awesome post and very informative post with great photos of Taj Mahal dear @SachinVijayan . You have written a very improvised post than your earlier. Great and keep it up. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Just one more suggestion (kindly consider it as part of continual improvement) you can share the google location embedded in the name of Taj Mahal by using insert/edit link button which is beside the smiley button like this Taj Mahal. So the reader can click instantly on it instead of searching at the bottom. Just my humble suggestion. Don’t take otherwise buddy.

Hello fellow LG @SachinVijayan

Congratulations…

Really appreciate your post.

  1. Beautiful photos: well composed and exposed photos with sharp focus… Which camera did you use? Done shots are wide angle frames.

Looks that the lighting was perfect.

  1. Simple but useful narration - well written with important information.

My family too visited Taj on 31st of January 2023. We too had a good time there.

Once again, best wishes for more contributions…

Thanks for sharing.

Welcome to LG Connect Community…

To be more precise, Taj Mahal is a ‘Mausoleum’; of course there is a Mosque along with this.

What you wrote is correct…

2nd most visited destination in the world & the first in India.

Warm regards, and best wishes…
