Taj Mahal 🇮🇳 - A Beautiful And Historical Monument

Radhe Radhe

I left for Agra from Subedarganj railway station of Prayagraj on 15th July. Our main destination was Mathura but there were no available tickets for that, so we got tickets for Agra. We left home with the blessings of our parents.

We were at the Taj Mahal premises at 5 am on 16th July. The Taj Mahal opens at 6 am in the morning. By then we were ready and entered inside after purchasing tickets for ₹50 per person .

History - The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife. Mumtaz Begum, who died while giving birth to their 13th child.

Its construction started in 1632 and after completion of construction after 16 years, it was opened to the public. Its architect was Ustad Ahmed Lahori. It is made of white marble from Makrana in Rajasthan.

Its grandeur and beauty attracts tourists.

Taj Mahal is also 7th Wonder of The World

Due to the sun and heat, we were drenched in sweat. By 7:30 we left the Taj Mahal for Agra Cantt railway station from where we had to catch a train to Mathura.

Stay connected for the travelogue of Mathura.

It is very easy to reach here. You can come to Mathura by train from any corner of India and then go to Agra from there. The nearest International Airport is IGI in New Delhi

Nearest Railway Station - Agra Cantt
