Douhua a.k.a tofu pudding and soybean pudding is made from soy beans. It is one of the most common desserts in Taiwan that served with sweet toppings like cooked peanuts, adzuki beans, herb jelly(仙草), tapioca(粉圓), mung beans, mashed taro(芋泥)and a syrup flavored with ginger or brown sugar.It can served with ice to keep your body cool.
There is a tradition flavor of Douhua in New Taipei city which is cheap and delicious!

There are only two tables so that people usually prefer take-out.
便宜好吃的手工豆花！擺攤在騎樓下的豆花攤，只有兩張桌子，內用座位少，大部分顧客都是外帶。除了豆花也賣挫冰，可加冰。
Toppings: cooked peanuts, adzuki beans, jelly cake(粉粿),herb jelly(仙草), tapioca(粉圓), mung beans, mashed taro(芋泥). The tangyuan a.k.a rice ball(湯圓) sell only in winter time.
配料：粉圓、粉粿、粉條、仙草、紅豆、大豆、綠豆、花生、仙草、愛玉、芋頭。湯圓是冬季限定。

The tapioca(粉圓)is small but nice,chewy texture.Handmade jelly cake tastes tenderly chewy.The mashed taro(芋泥)is recommended by netizens , it taste very dense!Also, the syrup flavored with brown sugar is not too sweet!
綜合豆花$40
自選三種料，我選了粉圓、粉粿、芋頭，粉圓小小顆的，手工粉粿極Q，顏色不那麼鮮豔，芋泥細緻綿密，糖水不過於甜膩，調味恰好。
