Taïrroir is a French restaurant with two Michelin stars, located in Taipei, Taiwan. What’s special about this place is that the food they serve utilizes the elements of Taiwanese cuisine and present them in the form of French cuisine. The dishes that provided the inspiration are traditional Taiwanese dishes priced usually around 1~2 USD but with the chef’s rendition using molecular gastronomy techniques as well as French style cooking skills, these dishes have been transformed from a local Taiwanese food to Michelin worthy delicacies.

Every dish at Taïrroir is eye-opening and tastes incredible. All of the dishes on the menu combines Taiwanese cuisine elements with French culinary techniques seamlessly. This culinary marvel is definitely worth two Michelin stars.
