Do I understand correctly that you have two accounts and happened to use the wrong one when creating a place?
In that case you are out of luck since we are not allowed to use more than one account. And I remember an old questions where the moderators explained that it is not possible to transfer points between accounts.
Please be aware that deleting a place leads to ireversebly losing all pictures and reviews. Claiming the place could be a way to take control but points for creating a place can not be moved.

In stead of regretting what happened go out and make new useful contributions and your points score will grow. And keep an eye on which account you use in google maps. Your work account can be used in Maps even if it is not registered on Connect.

As mentioned above, unfortunately there is no way to merge accounts or transfer your contributions from one account to another. You are, however, able to copy reviews from one account and post it to another. We suggest that you copy the review, delete the review on the original account and then submit that review from your personal account. You can do the same thing with images. Other contributions, however, are not transferable.
Also, as Local Guides can only participate in the program with one account, we recommend that you exit the program on your corporate email when you’ve signed up on your personal email.
