Switzerland-Lucerne

Hi friends, I visited Switzerland on August 2011 and it was like a dream for me.I think Switzerland nature never changes.I stayed at my cousine’s home.

I think I saw every place in Lucerne.A peaceful great nature city. Lucerne lake is great and shape is different from the other lakes.you can take a tour with steamships in summer

Of course the cows on the green grass.I felt like Heidi

I don’t remember this road but it we were going to city center from the villages

Zytturm

After crossing the bridge, you can see the walls and towers. They are well preserved and the city view is very beautiful.

Kapellbrücke

Kapell Bridge is a wooden-built covered bridge located in Lucerne, Switzerland, on the River Reuss from the tributaries of the Aare River.

It was built in 1333 to defend the city of Lucerne.

Löwendenkmal It is a sculpture designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen in Lucerne, Switzerland, built between 1820-21. The statue was made during the French Revolution in 1792 after the Swiss Guards who defended the Paris Tuileries Palace were killed. [1] The work very successfully depicts a dying lion.

Löwendenkmal Alphorn-Traditional instrument of Switzerland.Nearly 3m long.Swiss shepherds used to search for their cows:)

Everywhhere is like this green hills, you can go hiking :sunglasses:

Had a great time with my cuisine and friends thank them very much

Pilatus means Dragon.Pilatus, also often referred to as Mount Pilatus, is a mountain massif overlooking Lucerne in Central Switzerland. It is composed of several peaks, of which the highest is named Tomlishorn.I was so scared at the train because it’s the steepest train and landing angle of the world reaches 48 degrees in places.Just a few steps left to the top2128m :sunglasses:

Top of the mountain was fascinating as you see :astonished:

Park Goldau I haven’t ever seen a natural park like this, there is no cage(!) If there are dangerous animals they put fance around a large area.Animals live in their natural home. You can feed Bambi at this park, it was like in tale:)

Switzerland is like heaven on earth. Thank you @Deniz09 for sharing beautiful pictures.

Hi @Deniz09 ,

Thanks for creating this nice post!

I’ve never been to Lucerne and in general in Switzerland but I would like to visit it because of the beautiful nature. As I can see also from your photos, it’s amazing! Which places did you like the most? It would be great if you link the different places from your post that you’ve mentioned with links from Google Maps as I did.

Hi @PoliMC Thank you very much, happy that you liked  .The most I like is the nature I think: Pilatus Mountain, Tier Park Goldau, Lucerne Lake…Also the Lion statue was great I went that park a few times and just watch the statue, really impressive. And the view of Pilatus from down it looks so close but so far away. When you look carefully you can see a man face lie down like sleeping.I add a photo for this maybe you see what I mean :hugs:

I tried to put link but it doesn’t look like yours :disappointed_relieved: When I put the link(insert/edit link button) all url address looks. How can I make like you did, can you give details?I have lots of things to learn I think :persevere:

Hi @Deniz09 ,

Yes, you did it. I recommend you now to edit your post and to put links of the places on Google Maps. This way it would be easier for the other Local Guides to see the different places by clicking on the link. :slightly_smiling_face:
