Now is the time when we live in wonderful memories of when we could walk on the street, travel and spend time with friends. Such memories give us strength and patience to deal with difficulties.
As for me, I often recall my trip to Cyprus last summer - to the beautiful small resort village of Protaras in the southeast of the island.
Protaras is the best option for lovers of a relaxing holiday in a calm and picturesque place on the wonderful golden sands of the Mediterranean. Everything here is conducive to relaxation: measured life, stunning untouched nature, calm bays.
Protaras is famous for its beaches. The sand here is very clean, and the water in the sea is warm even in spring. One of the best beaches in Protaras is Fig Tree - a paradise sandy bay with a shallow sea, perfect cleanliness and conditions for snorkeling. Most beaches here are equipped and fully accessible for people with disabilities.
7 km from the resort is the famous Cape Greco. On its territory is the Cavo Greco Natural Park, known for rare plants and cliffs carved by nature. I have never seen such gorgeous views as here.
There is no fuss and haste in Protaras, which may seem boring at first glance. But this is the whole charm of this resort, as the atmosphere allows you to fully relax and forget all the worries. One day I’ll definitely come back here, but for now I’ll be watching photos, recalling wonderful moments.
