Hi everyone!
My name is Stephanie I’m a Local Guide level 8 (and almost a half
). I’m from Uruguay and I live in Montevideo. My neighbourhood is quite big, around March every business (except for pharmacies, supermarkets or any essential store) were closed.
Luckly (If I’m allowed to say that) on June / July they were coming back to the “new normal” that requieres to have facemask and hand sanitizer everywhere in order for you to get in.
Actually, I have a small business too but since I sell essential products I was able to remain open).
Ever since coffee shops started to open again, I’m trying to visit as much as I can, I understand that this is a difficult time for all of us and I want to support family business, being a Local Guide gave me the tools to do that.
For this specific challenge, I want to share a coffee shop called “Café 13-17”, it’s located downtown. It open the first time a year ago.
They were forced to close on March 13th. That day our President officialy declared the quarantine.
Here is the Google Maps link for you to see how amazing they are!
I really wish I can continue with my support to this small business, because at the end of the day this is what keeps our economy moving!
