What is summer in Michigan?

June 21st marks the first day of Summer and lasts till September 22nd.

Summertime consists of the warmest months of the year where outdoor activities are almost unlimited.

  • The first big event in summer is the 4th of July, the National Independence Day celebration, it is usually celebrated with fireworks in every city with different dates and times.

  • Cruises consist of cars, antique and vintage this happens all over Michigan

  • Camping, in some places may need to book the camping ground a year in advance

  • Movies in the park, a blast from the past bring your own picnic

  • Bicycle Ride, take the bicycle route for miles and miles

  • Hiking, pack your snack grab the walking stick and go for a hike

  • Ship/boat tours, enjoy the great lakes while dancing and fine dining

  • Picnics, take the whole family for a movie in the park or just a simple picnic

  • Playing on the beach or swimming

  • Boating, kayaking, and canoeing on miles and miles of waterways

  • Roller Skating almost every park has a footpath or track for running, walking, or skating

  • Fishing, with thousand of lakes not to mention the great lakes fishing is available everywhere with a State License for residents or guests of the State

  • Gardening, whether you enjoy planting or viewing most cities have a flowering garden for all to view

  • Outdoor venues, indoor or outdoor concerts, food festivals, flea markets, and craft shows, all are available in most large metropolitan areas

  • And many more outdoor activities

The weather is very comfortable around 28C or 82F. Sandals, tank tops, and shorts represent summer day! Michigan has some amazing beaches the temperature of the lakes slowly warming up perfect for swimming. Children will be off school during the Summer. How is Summer in your area?

Kalau banyak kegiatan piknik seperti ini kalau di Indonésia hati hati di julidin mbak @Erna_LaBeau piknik terusss,jalan jalan teroos,ajak ajak tetangga napa ha ha ha …

Piknik musim panas atau kemarau ya di sini gersang piknik ke hutan atau alam ya biar adem.

Indeed @Mukul_Anand I wish businesses also close during summer so we workers are able to spend so much time in summer activities but this is not the case. Thanks for stopping by :pray:

I like Summer, perhaps not too much warm but it is indeed a nice season with lot of outside activities to enjoy :sunglasses: .

Wow that’s quite some choice and they all look very interesting! What you like more of those and what do you do more often? Or you do ALL :laughing: ?!?

Thanks @LuigiZ haha it is very interesting questions unfortunately I like them all except roller skating just trying to avoid accident or fall due to my soft bone condition.

The nice part of being summer here we have a very long day sun will not set on the horizon around ninesh or tennish in the evening :crescent_moon:
