Me and my friends visited Sukabumi City for one day. From Jakarta I took Commuter Line to Bogor. Then from Bogor to Sukabumi, I took train.
1 day is not enough, but this one is city center. I have never known that Sukabumi has city center filled with heritage places.
There were 8 of us, and we happenly are friends with same interest, we love walking tours and travelling.
We arrived exactly at 10.30 AM, although it was one day trip, we have already ordered car rent, it was ANGKOT (public transportation). We contacted the driver to asked him to take us around.
1. Sukabumi Train Station
Arrived at the train station, we took wefies.

First stop before we started exploring, we have to fill our stomach full. The restaurant also Heritage Building. It was villa from Dutch Era.
3. Hakka Sukabumi Association

Hakka is Chinese teritory, so they are Chinese. I cant explain well about Hakka. Many Hakka People come to Sukabumi and settle down.
This place like museum, you can find lots of vintage goods, and also old photos.
At the rooftop you can see Sukabumi city, it surrounded with mountain. Beautiful!

This is a religious place of Budha. We visited cause it is colorful place and old place.
- Mortgage Museum

Museum is in old building, and already present digitalized explanation. Inside we can learn all the things we can mortgage.
Interesting facts, its include BATIK Fabrics and Plates. What? Yes, you hear me, Plates for eat.
In the park, there is cool place for taking photos, cause the painted 3 Dimension.
6. Exile House of Bung Hatta
This place is old house, where Bung Hatta was exile.
It is inside Police School area, and it was residential for police officers, so I cant provide the Google Maps Link.
7. Museum Police School SETUKPA

Actually this is not public museum. You can not walk in anytime, you must asked permission by letter before visit. It is inside the Police School.
Inside you can find lots of photos telling history of the police school. We can also see the bike used in historical event.
8. Soekaboemi Tempo Doeloe House

Also this place is owned by Police School. It was old building from Dutch Era, a Notary lived and run his office in this house.
9. Mochi Lampion Snack Station

You have to bring souvenirs or snacks from the places you visited. And Mochi is famous snack from Sukabumi. In this place, we could taste different kind of mochi, unlimited. Until you full.
10. Bubur Ayam Bunut Siliwangi

Before we went home, still have time to eat our EARLY Dinner. So we stopped by at this pouridge restaurant.

We finished our tour, and got back to train station. We departed at 17.30 sharp, and back to Bogor. Still from Bogor we have to take our train to Jakarta for 2 hours.
We are tired but Happy, Look our happy smile on our last train to home. It was wonderful time guys, cant wait to spend it with you again!
