I have seen this question come up a number of times as I searched but I don’t see any requests for this feature to be implemented.
I got married last year and wanted to change my email address to my married name. This creates a new Google account. I would love it if all of my own data could be merged so I don’t lose all my contributions. Can this please be considered as an important enhancement? I don’t mind if it’s an admin only thing. It’s my data and I would like it to be with my core account, hoping that you’ll take this into serious consideration.
This has been proposed repeatedly. I think Google will not implement this because it would also make it possible to trade contributions. The scammers would love that.
Instead you could have created an alias to your old email account. Or just changed your disokay name. But I’m no expert on Gmail. Please seek help on this here.
