Ciao @Dirk_Rellecke ,

I just checked my 360° photo and are right positioned and showing the right place. Did also do a check for my streetview video and links are correct.

I only do have an annoying issue with StreetViewStudio that in “default mode” the view is not complete (but it was in the past). If I switch to satellite mode this issue disappear.

I’m working on some 360° panorama to be uploaded, please let me know if your problem persist or if you found a solution.

Grazie

Marco

You want a good example? How about https://www.google.com/streetview/

The embed function is broken everywhere.

Not sure if this was changed before but even when trying to create an embed link from a Street View Image the popup only has the “share link” tab and the “embed map” tab although that was before the “embed image” tab.

Hi Guys,

Please send feedback on this issue in Google Maps.

I can confirm that the creation of embed links is broken as shown above and here:

@MashaPS kindly help escalate this to the relevant team.

Thanks

Sorry @Dirk_Rellecke ,

I did a wrong read of the post.

YES,

If I share the link (like this: https://maps.app.goo.gl/pukHAVWvsjKfeF2B7 ) the image is displayed .

If I want to embed using relative iFrame this do not work .

Sorry for my mistake.

Es muy preocupante porque realmente está fallando.

En cualquier momento empezará a sonar el teléfono con clientes pidiendo explicaciones y no sé qué les voy a decir porque no es un error nuestro.

¿Alguien sabe si desde Google ya se está investigando?

Gracias.

I hope this is a temporary error, I have virtual tours embedded in over 200 websites and on Monday they will start calling me

Yes it happened less than a day ago for all my websites and looks like it is a sunset following on the sunset of the Street View App. Anyone know any solutions?

all the embed codes are sadly down

I have the same issue for my embedded Tours on my website.

I had to replace them with a link to the tour that takes people to google maps to view the tour which is not good idea to have people leave your website but it’s the only way to show them your work.

Yes, it’s certainly a good idea!

Hopefully I’ll wake up tomorrow with the problem solved… I’ll have to do this for over 200 websites.

Cześć;

Maps Embed a Map No longer working. Shows a zoomed out version of the Earth instead.

it is reported in the help forum

Thanks for sharing this link, @lukaszpompa

I will merge this to the ongoing thread about this issue.

Cheers

This issue seems might be caused by a change in the way embed codes are formatted and processed. See this page for more info. Note the “streetview” map mode.

https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/embed/embedding-map

If so, Google Maps needs to generate this format when the share feature is used.

In the meantime, a working embed code can be created using this procedure:

I did the same thing but have the links open ina new tab. Helps somewhat with desktop users as they might close their tabs after being done with them and finding the page in a still open tab. But sadly with mobile users the tabs are aren’t as visible and therefore users have a high tendency to close the browser and simply get a “cannot open more than 99 tabs” warning whn opening the browser again.
