Very good your post. Graffiti is art and the artist’s place is on the street.

For you, a click from São Paulo, Brazil:

Congratulations.

@JacobLED Thank you for your detailed post, real tutorial in street arts.

Being an amateur in graffiti I usually choose beautiful well-drawn works and pass by ugly drawings.

But reading your post I see my mistake. All of them carry some message for us.

I like to see positive message, such as Balkan enamored. He gives us hope inspite of the scarf on his face.

I usually did too before… but thank you very much for getting my point @OlgaKlimchik that’s exactly what I wanted to show. I was basically more cautious for small hidden street art after watching that movie ‘Who is Banksy’.

There is so much hidden in the cities, specially in Berlin. Mostly they just fade away.

Thanks for your kind words @Miltextos and thank you specially posting that graffiti. I love south american graffiti culture. It is always so strong with a deep message.

Hello @JacobLED ,

Thanks for sharing this great post with us! I love graffiti and murales of all kinds. It seems that leaving marks on walls is the first form of literature, with the first examples even older than 40,000 years, from Argentina to Indonesia, from Spain to France. About Egyptian graffiti, look what I’ve found on Connect: The Sandstone. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you are into history too, you can see these interesting caves in Indonesia: Prehistoric Cave In My Country.

Wow, thank you for these great suggestions @Giu_DiB and if I am into history!? Does Michael Jordan hit the basket? Oh yeah I love history in all forms. Detected unofficial history somehow fits more my taste, the mysterious and unsolved ?️

I hopefully will visit this autumn Göbeklitepe,

the oldest religious site made by men. I think something like 12.000 years ago is rewriting history. I wonder when the history books at school will change. There are interesting carvings and a form of writing too. There is a NatGeo documentary about it on YouTube but it is in Turkish. I hope you’ll find one in English as well.
