Storefront Photos in Terminal 3 of the Delhi Airport

When places have photos on Google Maps of what they look like from the outside it helps those who are going there for the first time to locate them easily.

Here’s the storefront photo of United Colors of Benetton in Terminal 3 of the Delhi airport that shows:

  1. An accessible entrance,
  2. Various offers,
  3. The ambiance and stock of clothes inside the showroom.
  4. The variety and colors of clothes available.
  5. Glass facade showing manikins with colorful dresses.
  6. :wheelchair: Accessibility.
  • all in a single frame.

This is the outlet of Ayurved medicines - an ancient Indian medicine system.

The storefront shows the products and the attractive packaging available beside the ambiance of the showroom.

The COACH out storefront reveals that they are selling luxury purses and handbags.

It also shows the ambiance and the warm lighting inside the showroom.

This is the storefront of the LOOKS Saloon displaying its range of products.

The storefront of Irish House shows its seating arrangement, drinks, a retro motorcycle, official Indian cricket team dress, the offer of the day, and also the warmth of the interiors.

Here’s another view of the storefront of the Irish House showing the seating arrangement, lighting, and a few items on sale.

The storefront of WHSmith gives an idea of the items on sale, their arrangement, deal of the week, books and magazines, travel accessories, food and stationery items.

This amazing storefront of the Delhi Capitals and Sports Bar shows attractive seating arrangements, a very large screen display, and the ambiance inside.

The Art Port storefront shows the rich collection of art on display and sale inside.

The Starbucks Coffee storefront is almost a semi-open space for people to gaze on the other side of the shop through the tall glass facades.

It also shows the Starbucks merchandise on sale and the seating arrangement.

The storefront of THE BODY SHOP shows that it is a duty-free shop, the various products on sale, discount rates, and the warm lighting inside.

The storefront of STEVE MADDEN duty-free shop tells everything about it and invites travelers to step in and indulge in its luxury.

During my transit through the Delhi Airport, I tried to capture storefront photos that clearly showed the entrance, the name and details of the shop, and the width of the pavement around it among other details.

The storefront photos also show that all showrooms at the Delhi airport are accessible for the differently abled and for wheelchair-bound people.

@TusharSuradkar

Der Flughafen ist schon eine Stadt für sich.

Ich bin auch der Meinung, dass es hilfreich ist Gebäude oder Läden zu zeigen weil es für Fremde zeigt wo sie etwas finden.

Impressive airport and more importantly amazing photos, @TusharSuradkar

Great balance between interior and exterior lighting.

I would suggest you consider a small change when photographing wider stores were the store name is shown twice. If you care to optimize your chances of them becoming the cover photos, then make sure that one (only one) of the store names are nicely centered horizontally. This will allow your photos to work very well when a square photos is needed. This is very often the case on mobile devices.

I also see a few cases where one of vertical sides are not plumb. This can easily be fixed in camera, if you want.

Or in post as shown below:

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the appreciation @MortenCopenhagen - means a lot to me, coming from the most authoritative voice on photography in Local Guide Connect.

I have read thoroughly your entire series on storefront photography and greatly appreciate it :+1:

Very useful for capturing the perfect shots, though implementing it in practice takes time and much effort.

I took these photos casually while walking and with a bit of space constraints, so they may not look right, though I will try to rectify them.

@TusharSuradkar

These storefront photos are 99 percent perfect. My comments were just meant to point out tiny adjustments you could consider.

Getting both vertical sides plumb is something I also struggle with. I constantly needs to consciously check this for each and every shot. It is really difficult.

Taking the photos while zooming out quite a lot and then cropping prior to uploading is sometimes nessesary.

Cheers

Hope you can capture great storefront photos in Gurugram too.

The benefit is that if they become the banner photo of the place on Google Maps, the view count increases tremendously.

The detailed snapshots offer a comprehensive view of various outlets, showcasing everything from ambiance and products to accessibility features. The emphasis on wheelchair accessibility across all showrooms is commendable and reflects a commitment to inclusivity.

@TusharSuradkar Great idea, Storefront photos are the one which are mostly get featured on the google maps and contribute in photoviews on a large scale, lets take some suggesions in our channel and finalise a mall or a Khau galli or a shoping street in any old pune area like laxmi road etc.

You are spot on @Onkarjadhav :+1:

Storefront photos have given me the top 10 most viewed photos.

Also, the best part is that we don’t have to use the business to write a review and post photos for the business.

Storefront photo walks are very entertaining and relaxing too.

@TusharSuradkar One correction; Forest Essentials does not sell medicines. It sells ayurvedic cosmetic, skincare products.

Oh, nice catch.

Thank you @rohan27 for that info, greatly appreciate it :+1:

The word Ayur-Ved on the storefront misled me into thinking of medicines.
