Stop Google maps navigation telling streetnames

Sometimes streetnames are just annoying while navigating with Google Maps. Especially when you drive through places with a lot of Spanish 3-named streets. The best way to change this is to reset your default voice selection to a specific language instead. So, open the Google Maps app, click on your account icon on the top right of your screen, click Settings and next click on Navigation settings, now click on Voice selection and change to English (US) or any other, not default language. This should do the trick and gives you a lot more peace while navigating.

Hi @StageThatOne

I never experienced that Google Maps would call out street names during navigation.

Cheers
