#Stone Mountain Park

Hi,

I am Nasima,(level 5) I am from India :india: and recently moved to USA :us: (Atlanta).I love traveling and explore new places as well as hidden gems .

I recently developed this amazing skill of mine that is photography and videography.

So I take pictures of the places that I visit as a memory as well as for people who love traveling like me.

Moving forward I recently visited this beautiful place called “Stone Mountain Park”.(31st December 2020)

Spread across 3,200 beautiful acres, Stone Mountain Park is Georgia’s most-visited attraction–and with good reason. The fun never ends at Stone Mountain Park, where family activities reign during every season. You can visit the park, built around the world’s largest piece of exposed granite (that’d be Stone Mountain), for Spring Fun Break, Memorial Day Weekend, the Fantastic Fourth Celebration, the Yellow Daisy Festival, Pumpkin Festival, Stone Mountain Christmas and Snow Mountain.

This are some amazing pictures that I captured would help you and i have be uploaded a video on my YouTube channel “Travel Diaries Nasima92” of Stone Mountain visit andStone Mountain Christmas :christmas_tree: Lights. If you like my content then do subscribe to my channel.

  1. Stone Mountain is the place to take your family to see the laser show. The lights are choreographed with toe-tapping tunes and take-your-breath-away pyrotechnics. It is the very best way to cap off a day at Stone Mountain Park.
  2. The Crossroads area is the spot to spend a few hours watching live shows, shopping and dining.
  3. Stone Mountain is a great place to throw a party, have a family reunion or host a company picnic. The professionals at Stone Mountain Park will plan and host your group event for you. Your requirement: Have a ball.
  4. Learn a little history as you gaze up at the faces carved into the mountain. Who are they? Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson and Jefferson Davis.

Attractions: include Summit Skyride, Geyser Towers, SkyHike, Scenic Railroad, 4-D Theater, Ride The Ducks, The Great Barn, Great Locomotive Chase Adventure Golf, Antebellum Plantation & Farmyard and Discovering Stone Mountain Museum at Memorial Hall.

Wow great photos @Nasima92 . From your post and photos it’s clear that there’s lots to see and do at Stone Mountain Park. It’s very sad for many businesses and tourist places like this that are forced to close because of COVID-19.

Thanks for sharing with us your experience about Stone Mountains, @Nasima92

Did you had time to also see the most important part of the area? The Confederate Memorial is, according to Wikipedia, “The largest bas-relief sculpture in the world” carved in the probably “largest exposed piece of granite in the world”.

This is particularly interesting on July 4th (that’s the original date of the first laser show). During the Olympic Games on 1996, the road that goes around the mountain was the site of the road cycling Olympics.

Hey @Nasima92 Beautiful place, many attractions did you visit all of them? How many days did you spend there or was it just one?

@Ale_003

We visited almost all attractions, only we are left with summit skyride. Due to weather issues the skyride was close but we are planning to visit soon.

we spend the full day to explore the park . So if you have enough time then you can enjoy everything in one day but if you wanna explore trails path etc then it might take 2 days…1 day for attraction and 1 day for trekking adventure.

Hope I was able to answer your questions… :innocent:

I also have created a whole video of Christmas lights if you wish you can check on my channel ,here is the link https://youtu.be/xBOfsfTblf0

And soon will be uploading all the attraction videos and if you like my content then do support me by subscribing :upside_down_face:

I was just here to help people who love traveling but I guess some people have that negative vibe…

Anyway I already have removed those pictures.Due to size issue of my image i was not able to upload mine .

Next time I will make sure people don’t give dat negativity to my post
