Step into History at Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace!

Located in the heart of Bangalore, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace is a remarkable example of Indo-Islamic architecture and a treasure trove of history. Built in the late 18th century, it served as the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan, the ruler of Mysore.

With its beautifully carved teakwood pillars, intricate floral designs, and charming balconies, the palace offers a glimpse into a bygone era. Walking through its halls, you can almost feel the echoes of history!

Thank you for sharing your post with us! @saidevadiga
Also, would you mind adding a Google Maps link to the post?
It would be great to see its exact location within Bangalore.

Thank you for writing about Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. I traveled to this place in 2017 and created a small Street View.

oops..! I missed interacting with you, much less than expected. :sad_but_relieved_face:
@saidevadiga
Since we spent more time watching artifacts in museums than talking with local guides.
I felt like we were on a tour of Bengaluru as tourists - instead of attending a local guides meetup, something to avoid during the next meetup.

We ended up touring Bengaluru more than interacting. Let’s balance it better next time! @TusharSuradkar
