Hi guys, I’ve got a question: Since a few weeks, my Google Maps app on Android 12 suddenly does not show me the star symbols anymore with which you rate an entry in Google Maps. I have made tons of reviews, I know where the stars are when I open a location entry, but suddenly, when I go to the review tab of a location, all I see is reviews of others but I can’t review anymore. When I go to my profile and “create a review” or google “write review for X” in Chrome, then I can still write reviews. But in the app, which I’ve been using intensively during years, in entries of businesses or places I can’t directly review anymore. Has anyone else had that happening to them? Is there a fix? Already logged in, logged out, no change.

I suggest clearing your local data and cache on the app settings page in Play Store @sallysfoxx under My Apps. Over all the updates, Maps get confused occasionally and needs a clean house.

Hi Paul,
If it doesn’t work, plug in and plug out… You’re right. Deleted all data and cache and works again. Also shows updates it didn’t show before. Seems like it all jammed up. Thanks!
