On Nezalezhnosti Street is the oldest architectural monument of Kirovograd region - St. Ilyinskaya Church. This church, built in 1786 with the funds of merchant Mykola Gozhii, belongs to the architectural heritage of the 18th century and has the status of national significance. The brick temple, made in the transitional style from Baroque to Classicism, attracts attention with its impressive form and architectural features.
There are three burials on the territory, among which the grave of merchant Sokolova, dating from 1843, stands out. Part of the relics of the holy healer and great martyr Panteleimon is kept here.
