Spread Your wings

Google capture me in the middle of my job. My job requires me to visit some places and take pictures as evidence that I come to the right place and finish my job. In doing this job I rely on google maps to find these places. Suddenly shows a notification on my mobile phone from Google and asks me if I want to upload my pictures to Google Maps. I just accept it and then continue my life as usual. But a few days later shows email notification tells me about pictures I uploaded have reach 5000 seen by people (at that time) and help them. Then Google asks me to be a Google Local Guides, and again I just accept it and continue my job while keeping upload the pictures.

But suddenly I got an email that I reach level 3 in Google Local Guides because my pictures helping more people. According that case make me excited to collect more information about the place I visited in my list job, Not Just about finishing my job but helping people who need more information about that place, even that becomes my habit to always take a picture and get information to everywhere I go so I can help someone in confused to decided what a place they are going to visit, like killing two birds with one stone.

In the rapid development of social media, I got a lot of friends even foreign friends because I post places I visited with #googlelocalguide or #placereview. They ask me to join in global-local guides group community. In that group, we share everything such as their country culture, habit, even language. And I share about my country from my point of view to them so we taking care of each other about around the world issue and we can support each other.

This community support me to develop my skill in every aspect such as photography how to take a good shoot, editing video, make a Youtube channel, etc. and develop my English obviously because we have to communicate in International language so we can communicate to others Country. The point is not shy to ask, like Indonesia Proverbs “If you Shy to ask, then you are going to lost”

So, become a google local guide means becoming an answer for other people and helping them to not lost. And that why your wings will be spread.
