Spain #ExplorethemapsChallenge 🎆

I wish you a very Happy New Year to all Local Guides! :tada: :tada: :tada:

I hope the New Year 2023 brings lots of joy, prosperity, love, and blessings to Local Guides!

Let’s see how expert you are at finding a place on Google maps in 2023!

All local guides worldwide are welcome to participate in the #ExploreTheMapChallenge!!!

What is the Explore the Maps Challenge?

Every fortnight, we will share with you the icons and hints of famous places of any one country here. When you find that place, you have to answer it in the quiz. You have to choose the correct answer from the four options given below each question.

Country of this week’s challenge: Spain

Quick facts

Spain, a country on Europe’s Iberian Peninsula, includes 17 autonomous regions with diverse geography and cultures. The capital city Madrid is home to the Royal Palace and Prado museum, housing works by European masters. Segovia has a medieval castle (the Alcázar) and an intact Roman aqueduct. Catalonia’s capital, Barcelona, is defined by Antoni Gaudí’s whimsical modernist landmarks like the Sagrada Família church. (Source: Google maps)

Can you guess these places by their most famous Landmarks icon?
