I have visited Oklahoma once, which is almost 30 years back. Visited a friend of mine who was studying in Norman, Oklahoma. I will soon post some pictures from that trip here. 
So my memories of Oklahoma are little fuzzy, I had to do some research to find information of Oklahoma for the #StateChallenge Post.
Almost 30+ year old pictures of my visit to Norman Oklahoma. Yep, that is me on the first picture on the right hand side along with my friend Santosh, who shared these pictures! Attended a University of Oklahoma VS Kansas football game.

History
How did Oklahoma get its name: Oklahoma was named for the Choctaw phrase “okla humma,” which roughly means Native American.
The name was suggested by a Choctaw chief during treaty negotiations.
