But I actually posted that review and it’s showing in my time line.
this is a bug in map application?

This could be possible because your review might be hidden. You may please revisit your review contents and the photo (if any) associated with it. At times due to hidden photo, review also gets hidden and vice versa.
I would suggest you to go through (if not have gone through so far) the rules and policies related to High Quality Reviews & Photos and Prohibited and restricted content.
Also be little elaborative in writing reviews with your experience of the POI for which you are writing reviews, their offerings, about the services, ambience, pricing, special features, points of attractions etc. depending on what kind of place is this.
Even after following the above steps, if your reviews are hidden, you can appeal for the account investigation for these reviews along with the earlier hidden reviews by filling out Account Investigation Form.
After filling out this Account Investigation Form I request you to wait for some more time for Google to take action as they have huge number of requests piled up.
I am confident that after investigation, the eligible reviews of yours will get public. You will not get any confirmation notification or email from Google about this. You just need to wait and watch.
I have visited your profile and found that some of your photo contributions are not exactly following the rules, and this could also become one of the reasons to get your photos/reviews hidden.
Please visit Community policy :**“Dark, blurry, and redundant photos will be removed.” As per this policy some of the contributions e.g. here, here, here, and here are not allowed as they are either very similar or redundant photos or the duplicate ones but surprisingly such photos are publicly visible. These are just some examples, you may find others also in your account.
Request you to check for more such redundancy in your contributions account and safeguard you contributions from hidden/rejected state.
