Today I wanted to share a couple of pictures of two desserts I tried today at “La Piccolina Restaurant”, a Peruvian spot with several locations in Lima, in my case I visited one located in La Molina, the district where I currently live.
Original Tiramisu. Typically the tiramisu is a cake but in this case, you can sense the flavor but it´s really ice cream with pure chocolate on top and coffee biscuits that were truly amazing. I loved the look as well. Pretty nice!
Chocolate Volcano. The novelty here, besides a nice look and great flavor, is a scoop of strawberry ice cream on the side. A perfect combination of sweet & sour. 2 thumbs up!
Thank you for sharing them!
That Tiramisu looks interesting. I thought it was Tofu first:-D
Chocolates are also nice. I guess they go well with deep-roasted coffee.
These desserts look amazing, especially now that I am trying to cut down the sugar for the summer. They look fancy, too! If I were there, I would probably go for something more chocolatey like triple chocolate cake.
By the way, could you try adding the Google Maps links of the restaurants? It would be easier for other Local Guides to find them and enjoy these delicious sweets.
They look tempting @marcorp And the previous posts, too!I’m craving some pasta and ice cream now! Looks like that “beach body” isn’t happening for me for another year just kidding, thanks for sharing
