Solution to have a review more close than reality

As a local guide, there are places in my city or elsewhere that I visit year after year. Sometimes the experience changes and it’s more positive or negative.

What’s your solution for updating your experience as close as possible?

For my part, I update my review with the new rating and keep the old review and number of stars with the :star: emoji underneath.

Reviews are part of the basics and I think it would be interesting to have the complete experience of a local guide clearly displayed.

What do you think?

I do the same saying something like “Update, as of …”, but if I change the rating, I don’t mention it.

Sure @Tony3 , why not … but you can easily either add another another comment here, if it is related to the same topic or create your own new topic.

Anyway, welcome to the Local Guides Connect community!

If the business I received bad service from improves, I edit my review. This also applies to places where I left a good review. You can revisit the business where you left a review or check the current reviews of the business.

Local guides’ reviews are more important, but some local guides abuse this. I can tell when a local guide leaves an untrue review about a business without receiving any service from the business. This would be better exposed if the profiles of local guides were not private. Google’s oversight of local guides is commendable, but the fact that local guides’ profiles are private is a problem in this regard.
