Snowbird Summit Tram Ride, Utah near Salt Lake City

we took a ride up to Snow Bird Summit. the Ride is about 10 mins long, cost is about 25 dollars per person, there are 2 trams running every 30 mins. at the top of the SUMMIT there is a restaurant incase you get Hungry…

the ride is about 1.6 miles long and will take you to the top peak is about 8,000 feet above sea level.

up there you can go around and look at the stunning views as long as you need to. walk on the snow, and becareful as you can slide down the grade and could hit trees and rocks on your way down as it is not fenced off.

when you are done looking around and having the hot coffee, then pick what ever tram comes at the top or bottom of the hour.

over all i would recommend this experience as we (wife and i) are glad we went up to the top.

I have been to Salt Lake and driven by Snowbird numerous times. I never knew you could take the tram up and visit the restaurant without skiing or snowboarding. This sounds like a wonderful excursion when traveling in the area.

Thank you for the great advice and idea, @Phamstagram360 !

Hi @Phamstagram360 ,

That looks absolutely gorgeous! Wow! I love these kinds of getaways. I bet the view is amazing. I’ve been once on a ride like this when I was hiking and going to a peak, but they didn’t have any coffee opportunities, so just to have this chance to relax and have a coffee and check the views is amazing!

Thanks for sharing this photo, it’s really cool. Is it made with a fish-eye lens?

hi danni,

also that restaurant serves different types of beer too…

that camera i used is a 360 camera, “INSTA360 OneX” on a selfie stick about 4 feet long… the camera is about 400 dollars. totally worth the price as it capturse everything around you… it has 2 fish eyes… one on each side of the camera… i just hold it out the window and it takes both shots and it stitches the images together… i have more examples on my instagram ‘phamstagram360’

Keep up the great work ont this Danni
