Thank you so much @IzzyOz so glad you liked them.

@TerryPG your great series of murals reminded me to another series of photos, I made 13 years ago while staying in Rome for some time. Not really “murals”, but some sort of. Many store owners asked artists to paint the shades covering the windows when the stores are closed. That way, they hope to prevent wild, ugly graffiti being painted.

At the end, I had an album of almost 350 photos of fronts of closed stores and called it Roma Anti-Graffiti

Great photos @WilfriedB and what great initiative the owners had. I did notice some graffiti on some of the walls and I can only imagine what it may have looked like.

Thanks @TerryPG!

The purpose, to avoid graffiti, did not always work  I saw also some of them destroyed.

I noticed those paintings the first time, when passing a hairdresser on Mondays, when they are closed:

I saw later, it was not the only one, but the challenge was, to find others, because you don’t notice anything as long as the stores are open. After getting “infected” to make more photos, we went searching on Sundays when many stores are closed.

Now, I wondering if I should start a research on Maps to find out what happened to those places meanwhile
