Slovenia, one of the most beautiful, peaceful, and calming places i’ve ever seen. its beauty that even though its small size it has a variety of natural aspects sea from the west alps mountains in the north the hot springs in the east and so green meadows.
the people are nice and history is live in there castels and bridges and the largest cave in europe that spreads for over 2 kms. i have to go back there again.
Thanks for sharing your photos and thoughts about Slovenia! I agree with you, it is a gorgeous country and it looks like you went to the caves and Lake Bled, all very amazing! I’ve been there twice now, hope you’ll get to return soon!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful of Slovenia. You confirmed exactly my theory about Slovenia, a beautiful Country full of natural beauties but not so advertised. For how long have you been there and which cities have you visited?
I totally agree with you - Slovenia is a very small, but unique country with many interesting places to visit!
I’ve lived in Ljubljana for 3 months and I loved the city and all the places I’ve visited (which I’ll try to share in a separate post later on).
Are these pictures taken at the Postojna cave and at Lake Bled? They look really familiar to me. I can see you’re staying just in front of the Ljubljana castle. Did you have time to take the lift up and explore it? It’s also very interesting castle to see.
I don’t know if after all this time this is still relevant, but anyway: the castle is called Predjamski grad, or in English Predjama castle. Find out more here: https://www.postojnska-jama.eu/en/predjama-castle/
Thanks a lot for sharing more details about Postojna castle. I haven’t visited the castle yet, but the cave I saw a few years ago and this proved me one more time how beautiful Slovenia is. It would be amazing if you can show us more interesting places on Local Guides Connect.
Please only make sure that everything you share here is your own photos, stories and content. Thank you so much!
