There so many ways to we do when we meet-ups,

Standing, sitting in chair, work bench and many things.

But Jakarat Local Guides have something in common when we do meets ups.

Some Indonesia Local Guides will do the same too.

We do cross-legged sitting.

Directly to the floor or using some mats.

One reason is it more spacious than if we use some chairs.

We can see from the photo that we use rattan matt a handcraft from Borneo Island, protecting us from the cold of the floor. Meet ups in @Ifauzi house .

Sometime we try to find some support to protect our back, it can be wall, bench or cupboard.

There is always many things that we can share each other.

Thanks to @Ifauzi , @Liahakso , @Radjasitanggang , @inimasabi . for plenty of food.

You should try sambal made by @debbyregINA , level 10 of I to 10 level.

and the secret is you can feel the level 10 spicy from the beginning, it will escalate by the time you eat bakwan with her sambal.

The secrets is in the way she pestle and mortar the chillies.

This is the way I love the most how Indonesian make a original style, meet ups with sitting cross-legged. Even in modern era, people more prefer sitting on the chair,or standing. But we must keep maintain our style.

You’re welcome Pak @BudiFXW , this is also what I love the most when Indonesian meet-ups at friend’s house. Some friends brought delicious foods so the meet-up more intimate and lively.

My Dutch friend asked, why Indonesian always talk about food when they meet-up? Hahaha. Of course, because we always happy when we eat together with friends or fams. And Indonesian foods taste are the best. :blush:

Thank you for mentioned me and I’m happy you also like my sauce, nothing special and just follow the recipe but I changed by request of @Ifauzi because we’re (Indonesian mostly Sundanese) know how a sambal so tasty when use pestle and mortar

Di tempat Sahid namanya lesehan, yaitu duduk di atas tikar yang terpaut: ada dari anyaman rotan ada juga dari tiker pandan yang di anyam sedemikian rupa motif, ukuran warna dan harga, biasanya di pakai pada acara acara adat daerah seperti, selamatan atau genuren.

Duduk bersila saat bertemu akan membuat suasana lebih akrab dan hangat, apalagi duduk bersila berhadapan dengan beberapa makanan dan cemilan di tambah lagi temen duduk yang doyan becanda trus doyan makan juga, waah bikin suasana makin ceria dan menyenangkan
