Sint Maarten is a constituent country of the Netherlands and is about 190 miles east of Puerto Rico. The island between the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Most in the USA know the island as St. Martin. If you have the opportunity to travel to the island, do not miss out!! The people are humble and kind and the island is stunning. When we go on vacation to the island we typically stay at The Morgan. it is next door to the airport and shares the beach where aircraft fly overhead throughout the day. Of course the pool leads to the beach and the sunsets look different each day.

The beach adjacent to Princess Juliana International Airport is Maho Beach. This beach is well known for tourists being blown around during take offs and feeling like you are within arms reach when aircraft are landing. It is an exhilarating feeling either way!
