Singharaja rainforest . -Sri Lanka

Recently I visited singharaja rainforest sri Lanka which is one of the most beautiful and largees evergreen rainforests in Sri Lanka.

Climbing the mountain was not easy at all and there is no any comfortable road to climb th mountain .

However it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had.

It is located at southern province and there are 5 waterfalls at least.

When we were climbing the mountain it started to rain heavily and travelling was not comfortable. I saw many species of rare trees and animals. I will post some of my photos which I took.

January is the best period to visit there.

And you should buy a ticket for entering this.

I love rainforests and I have explored Siharaja few times. @Ivi_Ge the best time is early morning. you will see the birds if you go early only. also if you like macro photography (insects) you have to go early before the sun.

Sinharaja Rain Forest looks like a magical place and as I read is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I hope to go there one day
