The port city “Jazan” is the only region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which cultivates different varieties of mangoes. Saudi Arabia have dedicated ~ 5,130 Hectare area to produce ~30,000 MT (Tonne) of mangoes. The kingdom imports nearly 5% (approximate value) of varieties of mangoes from countries such as Yemen, Pakistan, India, Egypt, and Kenya. Mango fruit is very popular in different parts of the world and is in high demand, especially, during the hot summer season.
Mango milkshake is a very simple recipe and it needs only mangoes, full fat milk and dry fruits for garnish.
Cut and dice the mangoes and chopped it in a blender jar. Add full fat milk to the jar along with few tablespoon of white sugar (optional) and blend the mixture till it turns smooth. You can add chopped pistachios as garnish and is best recommended to freeze the drink for at least 15-20 minutes before serving. A serving of thick mango milkshake is rich in Vitamin A, C and Saturated fat.
