A paradise for RILAKKUMA LOVERS ??
Actually, I am not a big fan of Rilakkuma, but who can resist the cuteness from this cutie brown bear? ??
We came here for dinner on a Sunday night. From the front part, we could see that the cafe is eyecatching. I just realized if you want to dine in, you have to make a reservation first. We did not make it, but luckily there was still an empty seat for us.
They have variant of menu from main course to dessert and beverages. All of them served cutely, and of course with Rilakkuma. Each person have to order minimum one main dish. That day, we were group of three was allowed to order one main course and two desserts.
Usually, a theme cafe like this only offers a cute decoration, cute food presentation in a high price, but the taste is lack. However, this one is different. Yes, the food is in high price, coming in a cute presentation that make you cannot bear to eat it, but it also tastes good!
Here are what we tried :
拉拉熊豬排咖喱飯 / la la xiong zhu pai ga li fan / Rilakkuma Fried Cheesy Pork Chop with Black Curry Sauce (NT$ 360)
Buttered rice shaped in Rilakkuma served with pork katsu, salad, curry sauce along with the mozzarella. The portion is quite big. We ate it in sharing and felt quite full.
拉拉熊珍珠伯爵茶鬆餅 / la la xiong zhen zhu bo jue cha song bing / Rilakkuma Earl Gray with Pearl Pancake (NT$ 100)
珍珠 / zhen zhu / pearl is a must food to try when you are in Taiwan. This Rilakkuma pancake is filled with the soft and chewy pearl, served with earl gray ice cream, pearl, and caramel sauce. It tastes not too sweet, and one is not enough ? And as always, Taiwan pearl is so chewy, soft, and easy to chew.
拉拉熊檸檬巧克力雪餅蛋糕 / la la xiong ning meng qiao ke li xue bing dan gao / Rilakkuma Lemon Chocolate Walnut Cake (NT$ 160)
A soft and less sweet walnut cake that resulted in a good taste from the combination of lemon and chocolate.
Rilakkuma Cafe also provides some photo spot where we can express the sweet pose with Rilakkuma. They sell original Rilakkuma brand as a souvenir, too.
Totally recommended! Comfortable place with a good food and cute decoration.
