Thank you for the feedback, @SuzannafromSydney
Usually, it only takes some seconds for photos. If it doesn’t get published within a minute or so, you may assume the filter rejected it. You can see, if there is a visible face or some text, you can remove by cropping, otherwise we don’t have any chance, should delete that photo and try a different one.
However, in the case of videos, it can take a day or more.
Since quite a while, I never attach photos to any review anymore. Instead, I post the photo separately directly to place (up to ten at once) and immediately after doing so, I watch My Contributions → Photos and wait until they appear. As I said, usually within less than a minute. For photos taken in the EU, we see immediately, if one is rejected, for other regions you can share the link into an anonymous session of the Web browser, to verify, if they are public or not.
As @shinutrk said, if you make your profile public and provide the link to us, other local guides may have a look at your published photos and possible give tips what to avoid.
You can also post a screenshot of a rejected photo here.
Note, the filter doesn’t only analyze a single photo, but takes your entire posting history in account. I recommend reading How to Get In and Out of Trouble: The Main post for hints and tips what to do and what to avoid.
