Thank you for sharing @rizbab28 and giving some insight into the history of Southern India.

I did a bit of reading on Kakatiya Empire after reading this post and learned that Marco Polo visited here as the city was known for its sea port. Is the Motupalli (if the city still retains the name) still infamous for its port and trade?

I am grateful for your attention and encouraging appreciation.

Your interest in history and your effort to understand the golden era of the Kakatiya dynasty is commendable and your valuable insight is quite important. Of course Romans and Greek were having the trade relations through West Coast Via Barygaza port now Bharuch, Syrastrene means Saurashtra lies in Gujrat, and Kakatiya developed Motupalli as a port in East Coast. Marco Polo visited in 1293 AD during the reign of the Ganpati Deva’s daughter Rudrama Devi. Now it’s proposed to be developed as a Green field port and known as Vodarevu port comes under the Prakasam District.

Thank you @rizbab28 , and I am intrigued by your deep knowledge on this matter.

I know development of a green field port can be tricky, or green field projects in general, so I hope the government policies and other aspects of the process will be favourable!
