Shalban Vihar is an archaeological site in Mainamati, Comilla, Bangladesh. The ruins are in the middle of the Lalmai hills ridge, and these are of a 7th-century Paharpur-style Buddhist vihara with 115 cells for monks. It operated through the 12th century. You can come here by bus from everywhere in Bangladesh.
When to visit: Every year lot of people come here to visit this historical place. This site is very much fond to the students of various institutions and archeologists. You can visit this place anytime of the year, but due to the nature of weather of Bangladesh, this place is most visited from November to February.
Where to eat: You will get many restaurants in the nearby area, especially the Chauddagram area. There are many good restaurants and motels on both sides of Dhaka Chittagong Highway. You can eat various kinds of local traditional and sub-continental foods. Be careful about the price while you place an order!
Where to stay: In order to stay here BARD can be the best option. But you need to take permission before you come here. It has a very good restaurant inside where you can eat a lot tasty and delicious foods. It has a huge area which is also a very attractive tourist spot. But everything depends on permission. There are some other hotels and motels in Comilla and Chauddagram are where you can stay comfortably.
Beautiful Bangladesh has a lot of beautiful sites like this which can be on your visit list. If you come here, this will not disappoint you and I am sure of that. Thanks.
@PaulPavlinovich Thanks for I try my best to make post nice one which takes a long time for me. But I am not happy with this post as I faced huge problem to rotate the photos. I tried several ways to show the photo as I want. But photos forced me to see them as they want hahaha. Some became vertical which wanted horizontal and vice versa. Do you any suggestion or is it a technical problem? Please note I rotated the source file but that was not effective once I uploaded. Thanks in advance for your nice cooperation.
Rotation does happen sometimes particularly with mobile photos @MukulR Connect seems to use the original orientation of the phone rather than that of the image.
@PaulPavlinovich Yes, your reply makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. But for this problem, I was not happy publishing this post after doing hard labor. Anyway, nothing to do. Will keep it in mind.

@MukulR Great photos and very detailed description.
I see you made a great job rotating photos. Did you make it on phone or PC? I know the ways to rotate photos on PC, but often see questions how to rotate them namely on phone.
I always use my laptop to make post here @OlgaKlimchik Yes, I rotated this photo which I took by my mobile. One simple trick for you, Take a photo in Landscape/Horizontal mode instead of portrait or vertical mode then you need not to rotate. If you use an Android phone there is a rotate option. Please follow the below process:
Open a photo
Tap the Pencil at the bottom of the photo to edit
Tap the Rotate button at the bottom
Photo will rotate
Save the photo and you are done.
See the process in the photos below. If it is not clear let me know.
