​The Martyrdom Monument, or Shaheed Smarak, developed by the Nagar Parishad of Chittorgarh, stands as a profound and essential tribute to the district’s immortal martyrs. ​The Smarak specifically honors five brave heroes who hailed from the Chittorgarh region. Engraved plaques commemorate the ultimate sacrifice of Havildar Chandan Singh Chauhan (1991), Commando Ramlal Arya (1999), Lance Naik Rajendra Singh Chauhan (2001), Havildar Jagdish Vaishnav (2002), and Major Narwar Singh Shaktawat (2003).

​At the heart of the complex is the Amar Jawan Jyoti, or Eternal Flame. This continuously burning flame is a powerful symbol of the everlasting spirit and sacrifice of the soldiers, reinforcing the site’s solemn atmosphere. It serves as the primary focal point for visitors paying their respects .
