SG Light to Night Festival
Courtyard Cafe, National Gallery
1 St Andrew’s Rd, #01-02A, Singapore 178957
January 17, 2020 FRIDAY @ 18:00 (+08) UPDATED DATE
As part of a free entry Light to Night 2020 event that’s happening in Singapore, I’m organising this meet-up to let Local Guides mingle and also do a walk through National Gallery museum and the Light to Night Festival’s artwork. Experience art coming into life at night with massive projections on facades, and larger than life lit art installations!
I’ve also invited a fellow Local Guide who will be bringing us through (as a volunteer) the museum and festival and share more about the places as an insider - rare opportunity to learn more about the attraction!
Programme highlights:
6pm - Dinner (at own expenses) at Courtyard cafe, National Gallery. They serve a variety of Singaporean’s favourite dishes like Laksa and Mee Siam, prices start from $8.60nett.
7pm - National Gallery Museum (free entry to all on that day). We’ll walk through the exhibits featuring South-East Asian art through the decades.
8:30pm - Now that it’s dark, we’ll then move on to Light to Night Festival (free - open to public), with awe-inspiring art installations out in the open that will make you trigger happy with your cameras!
10pm - Free & easy, festival ends 12 midnight, feel free to venture to other free entry museums nearby and catch the remaining festival programming.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be able to visit one of the top attractions in Singapore for free while it lasts!
