I am a level 6 local service guide and several of my reviews are being hidden. I have not broken any rules, haven’t used special characters, posted links, etc. but have noticed the one’s that aren’t showing, have photos included and it’s when I am traveling outside of my home area. Is that an issue? (I can see them but when you view in incognito, they are not visible)

The issue what you are facing now is a Known Issue , but there is a solution too. To make it easy for us to submit our Google Maps profile for review, Google Team created a temporary Google Form. Please use this form only if you believe that your contributions have been wrongfully unpublished.

Thank you very much! I hope once the form is completed that something happens. Do you know if we are being notified if/when our reviews get posted?

No, you will not get notified when the check is done. So the only way to check is to keep an eye on your contributions. And check if they go public.
Should they not go public after 3 or 4 weeks the problem is proabably on you = guideline violations.
That is the way Google Maps works. I know, it is not as helpful as the expect us to be! I believe it is to avoid helping the bad actors.

I definitely broke no guidelines. I was traveling so outside of my state but some of my other reviews showed up. Here are examples of a couple that did not and still are not posted:
Restaurant:
SO glad we stopped at this little gem! Great service and reasonable prices for gourmet food! They offered dog friendly seating outside and even brought a bowl of water for them!
I had the Saverio chicken and my husband had the filet. Both were fabulous!! We shared the baked brie & bread pudding too! Everything was spectacular!! They even made me a virgin Sexy Sadie - Stop here to eat for sure!
and a Play:
Our last evening in AR was spent watching the spectacular Great Passion Play. It was nothing short of amazing and I’m so blessed to have experienced it. If you’re ever in the Eureka Springs area, I highly recommend going.
I have an update that you may find interesting. If you skip ahead on the following video to 1:27, it says, “If a business has received a lot of 1 or 5 star reviews in a short amount of time.” I believe this is what happened to my reviews that were removed. Each of the businesses I reviewed while on vacation that are not showing, received MANY reviews in the same day/week because of the sheer number of customers attending daily in Eureka Springs, AR. (a popular, local restaurant and the passion play)
