My absolute favorite place to take a vacation or just a weekend off when in South-Korea, would be to visit Jeju Island. To be more specific. The South of the island, Seogwipo. Getting from the Airport to Seogwipo is easy. It will drop you off at various stops with the most popular stops being at the Jungmun beach resort complex or in the middle of Seogwipo itself. Jeju has a very laid back atmosphere making relaxation easy. The Beaches are nice and there are many activities to do and places to visit. About 45 minutes from Seoul with all the major South-Korean airlines it is perfect for a quick visit. Also known as Honeymoon island it is apparently the Hawaii of the East. Eat out at the fish market, go to one of the many waterfall or just lay in the sun. The choices are endless.
