Secret Rooftops for the best views in Instanbul

Discovered this rooftop on a morning run in Turkey and went back later that day for photos.

Its’ right in front of the Blue Mosque, it’s part of a little hotel called the Alexandra

Hi @ursula_strauss ,

Thanks for the photo!

I agree with you that’s a very nice place to take photos there. Did you like Istanbul? Which places did you visit as well? I personally liked the most in Istanbul the Dolmabahçe Palace. The history behind was very interesting for me and the palace inside is just amazing.

If you have more photos from Istanbul, feel free to share them with us here and to add more details about your trip.

I love these rooftop places and bars in Istanbul. The view is amazing, especially in the evening. Just as @PoliMC , I would like to see some more photos.

@PoliMC I love the Palace!! It started raining and I lost my mom on the palace grounds for over 2 hours!! I can no wait to go back to Turkey and see more of Istanbul.

@Petra_M I will be sure to add a full story post later this week.

@AbdullahAM I see so, =) thank you for the tip.

@MahabubMunna the best I can do is to say when you standing in front of the Mosque keep to the left and follow a little path to the right, you will see a very narrow and tall hotel. That is the one you want to go to for this view =)

Hi @ursula_strauss ,

Thanks a lot for your reply!

Yeah, it’s normal because the palace is very huge. Here you can see some of mine photos from there:
