A 50-meter-long Sea Monster was set, at Parque das Nações (Park of the Nations), right next to Oceanário de Lisboa (Aquarium Lisbon). It took 12 tons of disposable plastic bottles from Eco-Schools and Pingo Doce supermarkets. Created by a group of artists Skeleton Sea, is officially inaugurated on 22nd March 2021, World’s Water Day. The purpose of this initiative is to raise awareness of the excessive use of disposable plastics.

The sea monster looks attractive to the eyes @Roman_Ahmmed but is a shame to the mind.
Good to see this idea being put up for awareness about how much we dump into the seas.

@TusharSuradkar thank you very much for your comments. I have been living in Portugal since January 2019. I have seen many other projects like this one to make people aware, and all these projects are done by a non-profit organization.
