In Old Goa, Sé Cathedral, also known as Sé Catedral de Santa Catarina, is one of the largest and most revered churches in India.

UNESCO has designated Sé Cathedral as a World Heritage Site. It serves as the seat of the Archdiocese of Goa. Intricate carvings and altars adorn the cathedral’s interior, which is simple but majestic. Saint Catherine of Alexandria is the patroness of Se Cathedral, which is named for the Virgin Mary.

One of the most famous artistic treasures in the Se Cathedral is a 17th-century crucifix called the Cross of Miracles.

There is a large golden bell in the church called the “Golden Bell of St. Catherine”. “Pilgrimage of Faith” is a cathedral exhibition featuring religious art and artefacts. You must purchase a ticket for the exhibition for ₹20/-.
