Saying Yes to Eco Friendly Bag #BagTheChange

Hello LGs,

Here is my 3rd entry for #BagTheChange challenge by @KetanChhaniyara
This challenge really inspired me to support the local business which uses eco friendly packaging products like paper bag and I am honestly happy to find one more store which follows sustainability practices.

Recently I visited Style Union cloth shop located on Baner Pashan road.

The store had a great collection, neatly arranged, good quality clothes and polite staff.
After picking a few outfits, I reached the billing counter and when I saw the staff putting my things in paper bag. I asked the usual question — “Is the carry bag chargeable?”(because most of the time it is chargeable) and last time when I visited MAX fashion I had made a point to carry my own bag.
But this time, the answer made me smile

The bag was free of charge, and more importantly, eco-friendly :seedling:

There was message on the bag:
“Even this bag refuses to blend in” and design looks great.
To me, it means choosing to stand out by making conscious choices, refusing plastic, supporting sustainability, and being part of change. I often reuse these paper bags to store my things and I love collecting bags.

Great initiative @DurgaK03! :handshake:

Eco-friendly paper bag and that too free of cost is really impressive. Good pricing mindset along with sustainability…:seedling::clap:

@DurgaK03 Your post beautifully highlights the power of a simple “no” - politely refusing plastic and consciously choosing an eco-friendly alternative.

That small moment at the counter reflects a much bigger mindset shift, showing how everyday decisions can quietly reduce waste and build better habits.

Thank you for sharing this and for reinforcing that sustainability isn’t complicated, it’s about awareness, consistency, and making the right choice when it matters.

Truly inspiring! :folded_hands:
