Hey fellow Local Guides,
I recently had the opportunity to visit Bahubal, a picturesque region located in the Habiganj district of Sylhet division in Bangladesh. It was during the second week of March 2023, and I was thrilled to explore the tea and rubber plantations that the area is known for.

As I ventured through the Brindabon tea estate plantation, I couldnât help but be mesmerized by the sprawling tea bushes that stretched as far as the eye could see. The lush greenery, the fresh aroma of tea leaves, and the serene atmosphere made for a truly captivating experience. I also had the chance to witness the tea plucking process and learn about the intricacies of tea production.
I will write another post on Brindabon Tea Estate soon

But what intrigued me the most was the rubber plantation within the Brindabon Tea Estate. I was fascinated to see how the sap is collected from rubber trees, and I captured some stunning pictures to share with all of you. The rubber trees stood tall with their distinctive bark and intricate tapping patterns, and it was fascinating to learn about the labor-intensive process of rubber tapping.
I have attached some pictures in this post to give you a glimpse of my experience. I hope you find them interesting! If you have any similar experiences or pictures to share, I would love to hear from you in the comments section. Letâs keep exploring and sharing our experiences as Local Guides!
