In India for every celebration we required sweets .In Maharashtra peda is traditionally used for celebrations.
Kandi pedha is very famous in Maharashtra specially it is from Satara. The process of making Kandi peda is very large but the end product is amazing.
In Satara there are some families or some sweet marts which are making this Kandi peda from their last 3,4 generations.
laatkar Bandhu are very famous in Satara for these kandipeda. Very authentic taste of this peda ,people cannot stop themselves to eating this sweet.
laatkar Bandhu started their business from last 145 years and the taste of peda is very amazing. People give them new name that is Modi’s narayana pedawale… Now they are changing their name as a Modi’s narayan peda. They having some other sweets like ratrani Barfi, mango Barfi, which are there signature recipes.
ratrani Barfi is preparing with ratrani flavour here ratrani is one of the nice flower with sweet fragrance.
This shop is located in visava Naka camp near Maruti temple Satara.
In Kolhapur also there shop is available we can search on Google map Modi’s Narayan pedawale. We easily get there location.
In Maharashtra if you want they serve you through online service.there app is also available so enjoy the sweets and namkeen from Satara.

It’s so tempting and my favourite one. Whenever I goes to Kolhapur I specially halt at Satara to buy these pedhas. I love this. Thanks @Supriyadevkar for sharing this.
@NERKARAMIT first time I eat when they send me sample I just love it.its flavour is different and taste is also unique.definately try this.modis narayana pedawale is located on visava Naka infront of rajpurohit sweet mart

@AjitThite on Satara highway many shops selling kandi pedha but if you like traditional taste need to go visava Naka which is near to high way you get unique taste.my schooling done in Satara so I know the taste of kandi pedha . ratrani Barfi is also great invention while eating you feel the flavour of ratrani flowers.
