So recently I was walking through the Taratala Road, Kolkata and heading towards Behala when a temple on the right side caught my attention. I went there, removed my shoes, and entered in the temple.
It was a Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir. I prayed there and went outside. I wondered if this temple is on Google Maps or not. I checked and found that yes, it’s on Google Maps. I took some pictures of the temple and went ahead.
Some of the locals of that area told me that there are many miracles that have happened to the devotees of this temple. So to the residents of Kolkata, if you ever visit Taratala, make sure to visit this temple.
A wheelchair is also accessible to this temple, and you can also park your two-wheeler at the roadside, but yes, for four-wheelers, the space is short.
Thank you so much @TusharSuradkar for your acknowledgement. Thanks for this kind act of donation. I think adapting the latest technology like UPI makes the donation process more convenient.
That’s such a lovely discovery, @Shaunak! Sometimes the most special moments come from finding hidden temples like this while just walking by. The way you described your visit to Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir really brings the place to life. Thanks for sharing this beautiful spiritual stop with us!
