I’ve visited the Bastei Bridge in 2017 when I spent one month in Dresden. From my experience I can say that this is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The Saxon Switzerland National Park is absolutely wonderful creation of nature. As you said we took the S-Bahn and then get off at Stadt Wehlen station. Then we walked on the rocks which was a bit hard because the weather was very sunny and warm. But the view at the end deserved the climbing.
