When you are on a road trip where you do not know the way and you have only one support Google Map. Me and my friend were once on a road trip and lost our way and then google map was opened and we were just going in our car and i was looking at google map and my friend was driving the car i was telling him the way . That suddenly my eyes went to a name appearing on Google Map. That name was Sanchi. And I had heard this name somewhere, I immediately took the help of Google again and searched about Sanchi. It was a historical monument that I had heard about before but had never seen. Then our car bus turned towards Sanchi. a monument older than 3 bc
Hello @MirzaAslam
Wow !!! I like this post and the photos attached. I always enjoy visiting monumental places like Museums etc. The help you connect with the good old ancient history and make life more meaningful.
The building looks quite ancient too. Did you pay to get in? What’s the feel inside the building like?
Was it a religious place in the past or just archaeological in nature, your photos are quite clear and nice. Thanks for the post.
Happy travels and guiding.
Cheers
Completely in resonance with dear @SholaIB

@TusharSuradkar Yes Sir. It was the last week of February when we went there and the weather was wonderful. And I went here 1 year ago. This place is in Madhya Pradesh and the nearest is Bhopal and from there I think this place is 40 km. Timing general is 10 to 5 only. Parking is not a problem here, there is lots of space. The ticket is Rs 100 I think. We didn’t take any tour guide but there are.
